This week I’ve been reading some of the fine work of Malorie Blackman - former children’s laureate and an extremely prolific author.
This piece - from her amazing book ‘Cloud bursts’ is a great piece of shape poetry. ‘Cloud bursts’ tells the story of a boy’s relationship with the school bully and investigates how children interact with each other through a variety of storytelling forms.
It’s a thoroughly recommended book and one which is part of the Empathy Lab collection - more information of which is on the main website!
